Converting shipping containers into homes is creating a new type of mobile home. Gorilla Designs are making these “green mobile homes” that take unused or abandoned shipping containers and build homes out of them in 2 months. If they are tightly sealed, they can be up to two times energy efficient compared to the typical wood frame home.
